HIST 3710 - Magic, Heresy and Witchcraft in Europe History of dangerous beliefs and practices in Europe from antiquity through the 18th- century; historical origins; legal treatment and punishment; roles of gender, the law, church and state; Inquisition and witch hunts and trials.
