HIST 4940H - Honors Studies of Selected Historical Topics Study, reading, research, and writing on selected topic; intended for students who plan to graduate with honors in history. Arrangements should be made during junior year.
Requisites: Permission required and HIST 3111J Credit Hours: 1 - 6 OHIO BRICKS Bridge: Learning and Doing Repeat/Retake Information: May be repeated for a maximum of 12.0 hours. Lecture/Lab Hours: 5.0 research Grades: Eligible Grades: A-F,PR,WP,WF,WN,FN,AU,I Learning Outcomes: - Carry out an original research project.
- Finish a research project that can be defend before a panel of faculty.
- Understand the fundamentals of historical research.
