MDIA 4805 - Compositing This course involves students in a deep exploration of the design and creation of complex digital images through layering effects involving photographic images, motion graphics, and animated elements.
Requisites: C or better in (MDIA 2800 or 3500) Credit Hours: 3 Repeat/Retake Information: May be retaken two times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts. - Demonstrate an understanding of the concept of layering the elements of sound and image to create effective media presentations.
- Be aware of the creative implications of technical specifications in the creation of successful digital media artifacts.
- Learn to work with provided elements in the service of a client’s vision.
- Demonstrate an understanding of the user interfaces that allow the authoring of seamlessly layered media artifacts.
