CTCH 2380 - Assembler Programming Introduction to machine organization and structured Assembler language programming. Emphasis on top-down design, program logic, and modular-structured coding as applied to Assembler language.
Requisites: C or better in CTCH 1330 Credit Hours: 3 Repeat/Retake Information: May be retaken two times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts. Lecture/Lab Hours: 3.0 lecture Grades: Eligible Grades: A-F,WP,WF,WN,FN,AU,I Learning Outcomes: - Develop simple programs in assembly language.
- Recognize differences between CISC and RISC processors.
- Understand data representation, storage, and addressing.
- Understand the history of assembly language.
- Write syntactically correct executable instructions.
