ENGT 1500 - Machine Repair Basic machine components used to build industrial machinery. Topics include gears and gear boxes, drivers, clutches, brakes, chains, couplings, and others. Includes a hands-on laboratory experience providing the necessary skills to repair or replace these components in various types of machinery.
Credit Hours: 3 Repeat/Retake Information: May be retaken two times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts. Lecture/Lab Hours: 1.0 lecture, 4.0 laboratory Grades: Eligible Grades: A-F,WP,WF,WN,FN,AU,I Learning Outcomes: - Students will learn safety procedures used in industry today.
