FILM 1800 - Film Experience This course introduces students to an area of study within the School of Film. Through hands-on project-based learning using digital tools and professional facilities, students develop their ideas and learn the skills needed to produce their own short video pieces.
Credit Hours: 1 - 4 Repeat/Retake Information: May be repeated for a maximum of 12.0 hours. Lecture/Lab Hours: 4.0 studio Grades: Eligible Grades: A-F,WP,WF,WN,FN,AU,I Learning Outcomes: - Students will be able to apply filmmaking principles in the creation of short form projects.
- Students will be able to identify the basic elements of film language and visual storytelling.
- Students will be able to explain the historical and cultural significance of different styles of films.
- Students will be able to evaluate the School of Film and its programs.
