MATH 1200L - College Algebra Essentials The course provides just-in-time support/review of concepts and skills needed for understanding the material in Math 1200 (College Algebra) and is taken concurrently with Math 1200.
Requisites: MATH 1200 Concurrent Credit Hours: 1 Repeat/Retake Information: May be retaken two times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts. Lecture/Lab Hours: 2.0 laboratory Grades: Eligible Grades: F,CR,WP,WF,WN,FN,AU,I Learning Outcomes: - Students will be able to use algebra concepts that are essential for College Algebra and apply to solve problems.
- Students will be able to use basic algebra skills to perform operations with functions.
- Students will be able to use factoring and other algebra concepts to solve polynomial and rational equations as well as inequalities.
- Students will be able to use algebra concepts to solve applied problems.
