Mission

The mission of the Ohio University Master of Physician Assistant Practice program is to prepare students to be leaders in the Physician Assistant practice in any clinical setting, with a particular emphasis on primary care in urban and rural underserved communities in the State of Ohio and throughout Appalachia. www.ohio.edu/chsp/rehab/physician-assistant/mission

*Physician Assistant Practice was previously a division in the School of Rehabilitation and Communication Sciences (RCS) within the College of Health Sciences and Professions. Its elevation to department status is anticipated to be approved at the June 2024 Ohio University Board of Trustees meeting.

Overview

The Masters of Physician Assistant Practice is located in Dublin, Ohio, and is housed in a large, state-of-the-art academic space, featuring dissection anatomy, ample lab, and learning spaces, and up-to-date AV and simulation equipment. The program is proud to have a diverse interdisciplinary faculty and preceptors.
