Environmental and occupational health and safety professionals are trained to evaluate and control environmental factors that might cause or contribute to health problems. Two distinct majors are available: Environmental Health Science and Industrial Hygiene.
The environmental health science option prepares you for a career in one of the many fields of public health. It also fulfills the educational requirements for registration as a sanitarian and for admission to a graduate school of public health. The Bachelor of Science in Environmental Health will be awarded upon completion of the prescribed course of study and official application for degree conferral.

The only exception to this requirement is an experience that takes place over winter break, in which case registration for the course may occur during either fall or winter quarter. Be sure to work closely with your adviser/program coordinator to ensure proper registration and fulfillment. |
