Program Overview
The B.S. degree in economics is a program which will focus on a mathematical approach to economics as well as related computational skills and statistical analysis. In the B.S. in economics program, students will obtain the knowledge needed for graduate study or for employment in research positions which use formal mathematical modeling, computational approaches or statistical analysis.

No requirements beyond University admission requirements but math placement at level 2 or higher is strongly recommended.

Candidates can pursue careers in the public and private sectors. Estimates of demand for graduates with this training are far above demand for graduates without this training.
