Program Overview
A history minor is an excellent choice for students looking to supplement their primary fields of study with historical context or who just have a passion for history. We have students from all colleges and departments and a flexible program that nicely complements the University’s General Education requirements.

Minor Hours Requirement
The history minor requires a minimum of 18 hours.
History Minor Course Requirements
A history minor requires a total of 18 hrs. No more than six hrs. (2 courses) may be completed with coursework at HIST 2010 or below. All 18 hrs. (6 courses) may be completed with courses above HIST 2010 .
