Program Mission: The Gender, Sexualities and Health (GSH) Certificate addresses a critical need for online, post-baccalaureate programing on for professionals in the healthcare, social work, and education fields. The GSH Certificate will advance the scholarly knowledge and cultural competency of adult learners by helping them to develop critical thinking skills for serving diverse populations.
Program Learning Objectives:
Upon successful completion of the certificate, learners will be able to develop best practices to address the unique needs of diverse populations of women, LGBTQ persons, survivors of violence, and members of underrepresented groups.
Program Overview: To earn the GSH certificate, students will be required to take three of four courses; a total of 12 credit hours. No prerequisites are required. Courses will be offered on a regular rotation of Fall (Gendered Bodies), Summer (Gender, Sexualities and Healthcare Policy; Sexual Violence and Survivor Advocacy), and Spring (Medicine, Science and Sexuality).

Admission Requirements:
- Completion of a baccalaureate degree.
- An overall undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or better in most recent degree program.
- Applicants are required to submit a Non-Degree application to ND9989.
