EDCS 4001 - Democracy, Diversity and Education Synthesizes the fields of diversity, our democratic society and education’s promise for transformation and social change. Studies the social, philosophical, ideological, and historical foundations of diversity in the United States and asks how we can become transformative change agents in creating and sustaining a more diverse and educated citizenry.
