LET 2000 - Procedures, Rules, and Test of Evidence Acquaints students with court system in Ohio, its functions, authority, and duties. Explains workings of all courts of record and provides description of mayor’s courts which are only courts not of record in State of Ohio. Kinds and degrees of evidence. Admissibility of evidence in criminal court cases, materiality and competency of evidence. Distinction between admissions and confessions; exceptions to hearsay rule; types of evidence.
