LET 3500 - Criminalistics and Criminal Investigation for Forensic Chemists Examines the fundamental principles of criminalistics, forensic science, role of the laboratory and their relationship to the criminal investigation process; crime scene search and recording, collection and preservation of physical evidence; scientific aids, modus operandi, sources of information, investigative follow-up and case preparation which represent a partial list of topics. Instructional goals are teacher directed and learner centered.
