PESS 690 - Readings in Athletic Administration

Required of all students entering graduate study in athletic administration who do not have an undergraduate degree in physical education, sports management, or similar major. Content includes readings in youth sport, school-based sport, the NCAA, facility design and management, Olympic sport, coaching, gender issues, sports marketing, finance, and governance issues. Students work independently and submit written summaries of selected readings.
