REC 617 - Leisure and Sport in Society

Designed to develop an understanding of the role of leisure and sport in the wider society. Addresses how leisure and sport affect individuals as well as the broader society. Uses leisure and sports as reference points to understanding human behavior and social interaction. An examination of behavior as it applies to culture, economics, politics, and the media explored.
