THAR 517A - Voice and Speech for the Actor

A progression of intensive training beginning with the perception of breath and sound, the technique of droppingin text, and the introduction of skills to free the jaw, tongue, and soft palate. Work on the International Phonetic Alphabet addresses regionalism in speech.

Prerequisites
Prereq: grad acting major.
