DANC 2221 - Ballet Technique IV Continuation of 2220. Expanded balletic movement vocabulary with continued emphasis on basic technical skills. Musicality emphasized.
Requisites: DANC 2220 Credit Hours: 1.5 Repeat/Retake Information: May be retaken two times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts. Lecture/Lab Hours: 3.0 studio Grades: Eligible Grades: A-F,WP,WF,WN,FN,AU,I Learning Outcomes: - Students will demonstrate ability to utilize class concepts in a consistent manner in order to progress to the next level of difficulty in ballet technique.
- Students will demonstrate improved strength, stamina, flexibility, endurance, rhythmic accuracy, musicality, and accurate ballet vocabulary.
- Students will gain proficiency at the intermediate level in Classical and Contemporary ballet technique.
