ISE 4191 - Senior Capstone Design II The students will, under the co-direction of an industry mentor and a faculty member, be able to work as a member of a team and integrate and synthesize industrial engineering tools and skills to solve a problem. The second phase is to continue the methodology and conclude the analysis, oral and written report of the project that was begun in ISE 4190.
Requisites: ISE 3340 and 4120 and 4130 and 4140 and 4160 and 4190 and Sr only and WARNING: No credit for both this course and the following (always deduct credit for the first course taken): ISE 4192 Credit Hours: 3 General Education Code: 3 Repeat/Retake Information: May be retaken two times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts. Lecture/Lab Hours: 3.0 lecture Grades: Eligible Grades: A-F,WP,WF,WN,FN,AU,I Learning Outcomes: - Apply appropriate ISE methods for solving the real-world problems, as specified in the Proposal.
- Evaluate team member performance.
- Facilitate communications within a project team
- Lead project team meetings.
- Make a formal presentation describing the solution to a technical problem.
- Participate in meetings with project clients.
- Perform formal and informal communication with team members and project partners.
- Prepare written and oral reports on project progress.
- Use project management software to develop and track a project schedule.
