JOUR 4860 - Advertising and Public Relations Capstone Capstone in Strategic Communication track to provide thorough understanding of basic elements of advertising and public relations campaigns. Includes creation of campaign.
Requisites: (JOUR 270 or 2500) and 3400 and 3700 and Sr Credit Hours: 3 Repeat/Retake Information: May be retaken two times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts. - Become confident in ability to succeed in a competitive industries of advertising and public relations.
- Create and test integrated marketing communication message executions.
- Plan media programs to reach the target audience effectively and efficiently; determine optimum budgets.
- Present and defend work in a professional fashion.
- Set realistic strategic communication objectives and develop sound strategies to meet those objectives.
