ME 4550 - Mechatronics I Design of intelligent devices. Interfacing of micro- and minicomputers with machines. Microprocessor characteristics, actuator characteristics, visual pattern recognition, design of devices. Theory and laboratory.
Requisites: EE 3143 and ME 3012 Credit Hours: 3 Repeat/Retake Information: May be retaken two times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts. - Develop an understanding of how mechanical and electrical systems are integrated.
