Lecture/Lab Hours: 3.0 lecture Grades: Eligible Grades: A-F,WP,WF,WN,FN,AU,I Learning Outcomes: - Students will be able to analyze harmonic, melodic, and rhythmic structures of increasing complexity and sophistication.
- Students will be able to compose basic musical structures in a common-practice tonal style.
- Students will be able to recognize basic chromatic usage in tonal music, and be able to recognize modulation and tonicization.
