SUDN 1120 - Elementary Sudanese Arabic II

Culture based approach to increased language proficiency. Students continue to develop listening, reading, speaking, and writing skills as they study diverse history and customs of Sudanese Arabici speakers.

Requisites: SUDN 1110
Credit Hours: 4
General Education Code: 2CP
Repeat/Retake Information: May be retaken two times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts.
Lecture/Lab Hours: 4.0 lecture

Learning Outcomes:
  • The student will be able to accomplish basic writing tasks in Sudanese Arabic.
  • The student will be able to engage in basic conversation in Sudanese Arabic.
  • The student will understand basic reading of Sudanses Arabic.
  • The student will understand the idioms used in public communication in Sudan.
