Program Overview

The Business Analytics AGP provides outstanding business students the opportunity to earn a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) while completing some courses toward the Master of Business Analytics (MBAn). Students may complete up to 9 hours of graduate-level coursework under the AGP. Students will be eligible to enroll in courses when they have earned or are in-process of completing 90 credit hours.

Admissions Information

Students can apply for Conditional Admission after achieving at least 75 credits and begin taking graduate courses after a leasat 90 credits. The required GPA is a 3.0 or greater overall, 3.3 or greater in the most recent 30 hours, and 3.3 (B+) or greater in QBA 2720.

Other prerequisite criteria include an application, resume, and interview to identify students whose career goals closely match the learning outcomes of the graduate certificate program. Acceptance into the AGP is resticted to students who are academically prepared and aligned with the goals of this unique program.

Requirements

The MBAn courses available to be taken before the conferral of the bachelor’s degree are:

  • MBA 6320 - Descriptive Analytics, Credit hours: 3
  • MBA 6390 - Predictive Analytics, Credit hours: 3
  • MBA 6420 - Programming for Analytics, Credit hours: 3
  • MBA 6360 - Strategic Use of Information Systems, Credit hours: 3
  • MBA 6460 - Strategic Use of Analytics, Credit hours: 3

Note: Each of the MBAn courses listed above is offered online in 7-week terms, and those terms do not fully align with a typical undergraduate semester.

The hours earned in these graduate courses may count toward the total hours needed for the bachelor’s degree. However, these courses may not fulfill specific undergraduate degree requirements other than the total hours required for graduation.
