BA 1100 - Introduction to Business This course provides an introduction to the world of business by investigating a wide array of issues and phenomena that business executives face while conducting their work. Overall goals for the course are to introduce the context of business in general, discuss the challenges people face as they try to lead and navigate their organization(s), and to lay a foundation for personal growth and development for students pursuing business-related studies.
Credit Hours: 3 Repeat/Retake Information: May be retaken two times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts. - Students will be able to define profit, cash flow, assets, and explain how these key items are monitored.
- Students will be able explain what a business model is, and describe ways that firms structure their business model.
