BA 1500 - Introduction to Business Communication and Professional Skills BA 1500 introduces students to essential business communication and professional skills. The purpose of the course is to help students build a foundation for college and career success.
Requisites: COB Credit Hours: 2 Repeat/Retake Information: May be retaken two times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts. Lecture/Lab Hours: 2.0 lecture, 1.0 practicum Grades: Eligible Grades: A-F,WP,WF,WN,FN,AU,I Learning Outcomes: - 1) Students will be able to recognize the importance of credibility in written business communication.
- 2) Students will be able to know how to build credibility in written business communication.
- 3) Students will be able to actively strive to be credible in their written business communication.
- 4) Students will be able to understand the role of influence in written business communication.
- 5) Students will be able to know how to use influence effectively in written business communication.
