DANC 2211 - Modern Dance Technique IV Continuation of 2210. Development of basic technical skills for modern dance. More complex coordinations, which add more spatial and dynamic considerations.
Requisites: DANC 2210 Credit Hours: 2 Repeat/Retake Information: May be retaken two times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts. Lecture/Lab Hours: 4.5 studio Grades: Eligible Grades: A-F,WP,WF,WN,FN,AU,I Learning Outcomes: - Students will be able to identify and correct individual alignment problems without continual prompting.
- Students will demonstrate a balance of strength, flexibility, rhythm, accurate shape and spatial orientation, and accurate movement reproduction in a variety of stationary and locomotor dance combinations.
- Students will demonstrate increased mastery of movement phrasing and use of weight in mobile and stabile movement combinations.
