DANC 4220 - Ballet Technique VII Employment of technical skills and performance demands within the classical ballet tradition at the advanced level.
Requisites: DANC 3221 Credit Hours: 1.5 Repeat/Retake Information: May be retaken two times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts. Lecture/Lab Hours: 3.0 studio Grades: Eligible Grades: A-F,WP,WF,WN,FN,AU,I Learning Outcomes: - Consistent demonstration of classical and contemporary ballet vocabulary at the advanced level with emphasis on movement acquisition, movement quality, and musicality.
- Demonstrate ability to move in space with clarity as warranted by type of dance combination being performed.
- Effectively analyze and discuss the work of yourself and classmates in constructive manner.
- Understand the use of proper body alignment and line applying required factors to movement phrases and combinations.
