GK 3160 - The Greek New Testament and the Milieu of Early Christianity Readings in Greek from the New Testament, the early Greek fathers, and/or non-Christian writers of interest for the study of early Christianity.
Requisites: GK 2120 Credit Hours: 3 Repeat/Retake Information: May be retaken two times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts. - Learn to penetrate the apparent jargon of ancient texts that have often been imitated without understanding.
- Learn to recognize and control the continuities and discontinuities between Classical Attic and Koine Greek.
- Read extensively in early Koine Greek texts.
