HLTH 3100 - Health Behavior Theory in Public and Community Health Introduces students to the most commonly used models and theories in public health.
Requisites: HLTH 2000 and 2030 Credit Hours: 3 Repeat/Retake Information: May be retaken two times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts. Lecture/Lab Hours: 3.0 lecture Grades: Eligible Grades: A-F,WP,WF,WN,FN,AU,I Learning Outcomes: - Students will design an intervention based on health behavior theory.
- Students will explain the purpose of health behavior theory for intervention development.
- Students will discuss which theories and models should be used based upon health issue presented.
