IART 3600J - Writing in the Arts Students in this course will be able to conduct research and write with coherence and cohesion about music, theater, film, dance, and visual art.
Credit Hours: 3 General Education Code (students who entered prior to Fall 2021-22): 1J Repeat/Retake Information: May be retaken two times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts. - Students will be able to write about art forms from a variety of theoretical perspectives
- Students will be able to locate primary sources and construct arguments in relation to secondary sources
- Students will be able to identify fundamental features of artistic genres and forms in music, theater, film, dance, and visual art
