LPA 4910 - Strategy and Organization Consulting Will provide students with real-world learning experiences in working as a consultant with public sector organizations and non-profit ventures. Students will work in teams using analysis-based decision-making to solve these clients’ key organizational/programmatic problems. Students will also acquire the soft skills necessary for effective oral/written communication, persuasion, and conflict resolution.
Requisites: Permission required Credit Hours: 3 Repeat/Retake Information: May be retaken two times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts. Lecture/Lab Hours: 6.0 internship Grades: Eligible Grades: A-F,WP,WF,WN,FN,AU,I Learning Outcomes: - Achieve the ability to present analyses of issues and organizational problems in a concise, accurate, and interesting manner from a client-centered perspective.
- Acquire experience in conducting a field-consulting project.
- Gain knowledge of strategic and organizational consulting practices.
- Gain understanding of the processes and interventions central to strategic and organization management consulting.
