RHT 4000 - Hospitality Senior Seminar Development of portfolios and case study reviews provide an opportunity for hospitality students to demonstrate personal and professional growth through reflection and career assessment.
Requisites: RHT 4920 concurrent Credit Hours: 3 Repeat/Retake Information: May be retaken two times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts. Lecture/Lab Hours: 3.0 lecture Grades: Eligible Grades: A-F,WP,WF,WN,FN,AU,I Learning Outcomes: - Demonstrate knowledge of standards of professional ethics.
- Demonstrate skill in planning and making an oral presentation and leading group discussion.
- Document skills and competencies needed by a professional in a portfolio.
- Evaluate one’s own strengths and weaknesses in relation to a professional role.
- Explore and evaluate various employment seeking methods.
- Gain opportunity to demonstrate progress in professional growth by sharing reports and comments of the approved hospitality field experience.
