ENGT 2300 - Tool Design Basic jig and fixture design. Relation to manufacturing processes, material requirements, gauging and cutting tools, with emphasis on repair and maintenance.
Requisites: ENGT 1170 or IMT 1170 Credit Hours: 3 Repeat/Retake Information: May be retaken two times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts. Lecture/Lab Hours: 1.0 lecture, 4.0 laboratory Grades: Eligible Grades: A-F,WP,WF,WN,FN,AU,I Learning Outcomes: - Students will demonstrate their skills in design and fabrication of tooling and fixtures.
