MAT 1400 - Medical Terminology for the Medical Assistant Understanding and usage of medical terms in the allied-health field. Emphasis on the spelling, definition, and creation of medical terms through the understanding of prefixes, suffixes, and root words. Terminology learned through body system knowledge. Terminology usage for a variety of medical documentation covered.
