TAS 4340 - Applied Leadership in the Workplace This course allows students to complete a behavioral self-examination of their leadership styles and understand how to apply that style in a successful manner in the workplace.
Credit Hours: 3 Repeat/Retake Information: May be retaken two times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts. Lecture/Lab Hours: 3.0 seminar Grades: Eligible Grades: A-F,WP,WF,WN,FN,AU,I Learning Outcomes: - Compare and contrast an effective leader and an ineffective leader.
- Create a leadership learning plan.
- Critique leaders in action identifying effective and ineffective leadership practices.
- Evaluate the difference between a leader and a manager.
- Identify personal leadership style and how to apply it in various situations.
