UC 2100 - Academic Achievement & Student Engagement This course guides students to clarify their academic and professional interests. This is accomplished through a combination of seminar style discussion and reflection activities. In addition, students gain and develop a set of skills, tools and practices intended to support students in being agents of change in their respective communities.
Credit Hours: 2 Repeat/Retake Information: May be retaken two times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts. Lecture/Lab Hours: 2.0 seminar Grades: Eligible Grades: A-F,WP,WF,WN,FN,AU,I Learning Outcomes: - Students will be able to design, develop, and implement their own scholarship projects for inspiring and transforming a community of their choice.
- Students will be able to demonstrate proficiency in oral and written communication skills through presentation of ideas during class discussions and completion of writing assignments.
- Students will be able to successfully develop a professional e-portfolio that demonstrates academic achievement, leadership skills and community service.
