ML 3270 - Translation as Writing
An introduction to the practice and theory of translation into English with special emphasis on translation as a form of writing/composition. Includes analysis and discussion of good writing and of the students’ own translations and compositions.
Requisites: A 2120 level course in any foreign language and First Year English Composition (ENG 1510 or 1610)
Credit Hours: 3

Repeat/Retake Information: May be retaken two times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts.

- Students will be able to use syntax and mechanics effectively in English and another language to communicate ideas of the original text.
