• Students will be able to analyze Spanish texts using close-reading skills.
• Students will be able to apply research techniques and resources to solve translation problems to create faithful, fluent English translations of Spanish texts.
• Students will be able to critique translations by others through rational discussion.
• Students will be able to evaluate the accuracy and naturalness of their own writing.
• Students will be able to synthesize and reflect on their experiences and insights gained during the process of translation.
