XLRN 3911 - Research Activity through Experiential Learning Develops research skills through hands-on inquiry and academic exploration in real-world settings. Students integrate experiential learning with scholarly research, honing their ability to ask critical questions, apply research methodologies, and analyze diverse perspectives. They adapt their approaches to different cultural and disciplinary contexts while effectively communicating their findings. Through reflection and self-assessment, students enhance their capacity to conduct ethical, interdisciplinary research and contribute meaningful insights across varied environments.
Requisites: Jr or Sr Credit Hours: 1 to 3 OHIO BRICKS: Bridge: Learning and Doing Repeat/Retake Information: May be retaken two times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts.
Lecture/Lab Hours: 6.0 field experience/internship Eligible Grades: A-F,WP,WF,WN,FN,AU,I Learning Outcomes: - Students will be able to connect their experiential learning experiences with academic research, recognizing the impact of active engagement on their scholarly development.
