XLRN 3914 - Civic Engagement through Experiential Learning


Develops civic engagement skills and knowledge through active participation in real-world community settings. By connecting experiential learning with civic knowledge, students strengthen their capacity to contribute to communities and democratic life. Students apply problem-solving strategies to social issues, communicate effectively across diverse groups, and integrate multiple perspectives into civic dialogue and action. Through reflection and self-assessment, students deepen their civic identity and gain skills and confidence needed to participate ethically and responsibly in civic life. Students take on civic roles by collaborating with others, engaging in community-based experiences, and applying knowledge to real-world challenges.

Learning Outcomes:
