Program Overview
The Pre-Integrative Studies program designates students who intend to declare the Bachelor’s program in Integrative Studies major code (BI1119 ), but who have not yet satisfied the admissions requirements. The Integrative Studies program affords undergraduate students at Ohio University the opportunity to design a degree program that is uniquely their own. Students work with faculty and staff to create an area of concentration, which stands as the equivalent of an established major. The program permits you to combine available curricula to create a unique field of study.
Students may submit proposals for admission at any time. Admission is rolling. Admission requires an advisor-approved, faculty partner approved, and completed proposal with formal checklist. Alternately, students may develop their proposal in the UC 2610 course.
